“Pupils from Years 1 to 6 enjoyed a stunning, powerful and superbly acted dramatic interactive show. ‘Lest We Forget’ was produced and performed by three actors from Mance Productions and really allowed the story of one man’s experience, which could apply to any one of the millions who fought in WW1, to be told.

The actors also brought home the relevance of the need to remember to fascinated, enthusiastic and highly responsive audiences in two sittings. Detailed and challenging questions from the pupils about the story, about the play, and, of course, about the Great War itself were fielded brilliantly by the young performers. A triumph of passionate story telling which evokes memories of War Horse, Private Peaceful and other Michael Morpurgo classics.”
